n1: Check Continuity of IDM Circuit
| Steps | _Key Off, wait 10 seconds
_Disconnect E-Core ignition coil _Disconnect processor 60 pin connector. Inspect for damaged pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary _Install breakout box, leave processor disconnected _DVOM on 200,000 ohm scale _Measure resistance between Test Pin 4 at the breakout box and ignition coil harness connector negative terminal |
| Result | Is resistance between 20,000 and 24,000 ohms? |
| Direction | YES
GO to Continue NO Remove breakout box. Reconnect processor. Service open circuit. Rerun Quick Test. Reconnect E-Core ignition coil |
