Steps | _Key Off
_Disconnect processor 60 pin connector. _Inspect for damaged pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary _Install breakout box, leave processor disconnected _HEGO disconnected _DVOM on 200 ohm scale _Measure resistance between Test Pin 49 at the breakout box and battery negative post. _Measure resistance between Test Pin 29 at the breakout box and HEGO Signal at the vehicle harness connector |
Result | Are all resistances less than 5.0 ohms? |
Direction | YES
GO to Continue NO Remove breakout box. Reconnect processor, HEGO sensor, and any other components that are disconnected or removed. Service open circuit. Rerun Quick Test. |
