db22: Check ACT Signal for Short to Ground
| Steps | _Key OFF, wait 10 seconds
_Harness disconnected from ACT sensor _Disconnect processor 60 pin connector. Inspect for damaged pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary _Install breakout box, leave processor disconnected _DVOM on 200,000 ohm scale _Measure resistance between Test Pin 25 and Test Pins 40, 46 and 60 at the breakout box |
| Result | Are all resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? |
| Direction | YES
Replace processor. Remove breakout box. Reconnect processor and ACT sensor. Rerun Quick Test. NO Service short circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect processor and ACT sensor. Rerun Quick Test. |
